Covid-19 has impacted the lives of everyone on the planet and created an immense amount of change in a very short period of time. In this constantly shifting landscape, LightHouse Business Information Solutions is working to meet the needs of our clients and business partners while following the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines for personal and community safety. Please see below for an overview of how LightHouse is responding to the pandemic.
Information technology providers have been designated “an essential service necessary to the nation’s security, economy, and public health and safety.” At LightHouse, we take this responsibility seriously and are committed to continuing to provide the quality of service that our clients expect.
The CDC recommends that people maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet, and that they disinfect surfaces often. We are using those guidelines to inform how our team interacts with yours so that all parties can stay as safe as possible.
In the middle of March, we enacted our remote work plan, sending most of our team to work from home.
We have retained a presence at the Albuquerque office. In order to keep those team members safe, we are asking that clients do not drop by our office; instead, plan to call ahead so that we can coordinate a safe way to transact any necessary business.
The Kansas City office is currently being staffed by appointment only, and the team is fully functional on a remote basis.
Using our remote services platform, we are able to perform the vast majority of our support services without having to visit your office. Since more of our work is being performed remotely, we have adjusted our staffing so that we have more engineers available to remotely support your business quickly and effectively.
In the event that it is crucial for our team to go onsite, we will work with you to determine how we can safely meet the needs of your business without creating unnecessary risk for either your team or ours.
As always, if your request is of an urgent nature, please let us know so that we can appropriately prioritize and address your need.
In order to reduce the number of interactions, we are, when possible, having hardware drop-shipped to its destination. In addition, we have changed our down payment policy for hardware purchases; your salesperson will work with you regarding the specifics.
Please be aware that some hardware items may be harder to obtain right now due to supply chain issues. If that occurs, we will work with you to see if there is an alternative item that will meet your needs.
As you work through your business continuity plans, please contact us with any challenges you face. If you need to strengthen your IT capabilities, remember that we offer many services and products that can help your staff work from home efficiently and effectively, including, but not limited to, VPN access, cloud hosting, VoIP phone systems, and various security enhancements.
If you have any questions about how we can help with remote work, please contact us and ask to speak with the sales team.
Our team is available at the same numbers and/or email addresses that you’ve always used. Our office in Albuquerque can be reached at 505-798-0900, and our office in Kansas City can be reached at 913‑780-0494. You can also email our support team at SUPPORT@LHBIS.COM
LightHouse Business Information Solutions wishes you all the best, along with our hopes that you, your family, and our community stay as safe as possible in these historic times.
