Bryan Handing’s passion for tech developed early programming first generation PC and Apple computers. He earned a Bachelors’ Degree from UNM in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Business Computer Systems.
As an auditor at Arthur Andersen, he quickly became a lead database administrator for one of the firm’s high-profile clients. By the 1990s, he transitioned to an Albuquerque-based accounting firm to develop an IT consulting department. Under his leadership, they become the first CPA-based tech group in New Mexico to achieve major industry certifications.
He is a licensed CPA and AICPA Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) . He founded LightHouse in 2003, with a mission to use technology to support clients’ business objectives. Bryan’s passions outside of LightHouse include family, food, and faith.
He’s the Veteran of VOIP — There’s no other title for a person with 30+ years working in the most demanding telecommunications environments, from small businesses to call centers to completely remote “call centers” with hundreds of remote call-center service employees. Brian’s experience runs deep. He started his business at just 17 and has been delivering telecommunications systems to clients ever since — 500+ companies by his estimate. In 2019 he merged his Kansas City-based firm Network Innovations with LightHouse where he now leads VOIP services. He’s deeply involved in his community serving on numerous boards and advisory councils including CT Pioneers, CompTIA Education Advisory Counsel and Braden’s Hope for Childhood Cancer Advisory Board. He’s a past president of the Paola KS Chamber of Commerce and Head Captain of the KC Chiefs Red Coaters. He won the US Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Enterprise Award.
From Hollywood to LightHouse — Matt’s 20+ years in IT services includes a several years working on-location and under pressure for movie productions that required “instant on-location offices” on extremely short notice, anywhere in the world. That included complete IT offices in remote shooting locations that required satellite communication capabilities for production teams. He came to LightHouse to define the managed service offering and restructure and develop the service team that enabled LightHouse to triple in size while maintaining service excellence. Today Matt serves as the bridge between LightHouse clients and LightHouse’s technical teams through the entire client life cycle, bringing insight, strategic planning and leadership to client service implementations.
Delivering decades of client service excellence — Deeply experienced in client sales and service, Gardner started his career at Intelligent Electronics, then moved on to Sun Educational Services, Pharmacy Choice and Hewlett Packard before arriving at LightHouse in 2020. Along the way he supported and grew his wife’s dental practice. He understands the needs and concerns of small business owners and C-suite executives alike. At LightHouse he leads the sales team meeting with new clients, working closely with the LightHouse tech team to assess client IT infrastructures, onboard clients and meet client expectations.
